Respite Care

We Are Here To Help

Respite care services

Dynamic Social Support understands that providing full-time care for a loved one is a rich and rewarding experience, but it can also become very demanding and, every now and again, you will need a break to have some you time. This could be a decision you have made yourself or following an assessment from your local authority.

Our respite care service is designed so that we can act as care relief for family members or friends who are primary caregivers for a loved one. Our professional and dedicated care staff can slot into your daily routine with minimum disruption to the person being cared for. This leaves you safe in the knowledge that they will continue to receive the same level of assistance that you provide.

The service includes:

  • Consistent levels of care
  • Qualified care staff
  • Matching your daily routine
  • Opportunities for funding

It is possible that you may be able to receive funding to cover the cost of respite care. You can contact your local authority who will undertake a Carer’s Assessment. The assessment will help to determine what you can receive by assessing the type of respite care you will need.

We provide adult social care in Guiseley, Yeadon, Otley, Armley, Bramley, Pudsey, Cross Green, Seacroft and surrounding areas.

By law, workers in the UK must obtain a Disclosure and Barring Services check before they are allowed to work unsupervised in the Health and Social Care Sector. We ensure that all of our carers have had these checks before being introduced to a client.

The care staff we supply will have had training that meets the standards required by the Care Quality Commission. Most of our care staff will have qualifications that exceed these standards. In addition, our comprehensive and continual training programmes also supply our carers with the tools to further their progression in specialist areas within social support.

We know how important it is for you to build a rapport with your carer and so we make every effort to maintain continuity. However, there are times when this is unavoidable in emergency cases, sickness and annual leave. In order to keep to our commitments of care we will have to send you another carer, but we will make sure to inform you prior to your visit.

We regularly monitor our Care Team to guarantee only the highest level of care is being delivered. This also involves regularly reviewing and tailoring each client’s care plan to make sure it remains up to date and relevant to each individual. We also provide family members with updates on each client.
