Dementia care

The best place for someone suffering from memory loss is in familiar and safe surroundings with a trusted care team. Dynamic Social Support dementia services offer our clients a solution to maintain an excellent quality of life.

We understand that dementia can be very difficult to manage for both the person living with the condition, and their family members. This is why we are committed to providing one-to-one dementia care in the home with highly trained members of our care team.

Dynamic Social Support has a set schedule that allows us to offer continuity of care, which is vital for tackling the confusion that dementia patients face.

Our staff are trained to:

  • Manage any changing behaviour or added symptoms
  • Create a positive environment to promote social interaction
  • Stimulate the mind with activities
  • Maintain a safe and relaxed environment
  • Provide nutritious meals and hydration
  • Build a relationship and engage in conversation
  • Aid with family interaction

We provide adult social care in Guiseley, Yeadon, Otley, Armley, Bramley, Pudsey, Cross Green, Seacroft and surrounding areas.

By law, workers in the UK must obtain a Disclosure and Barring Services check before they are allowed to work unsupervised in the Health and Social Care Sector. We ensure that all of our carers have had these checks before being introduced to a client.

The care staff we supply will have had training that meets the standards required by the Care Quality Commission. Most of our care staff will have qualifications that exceed these standards. In addition, our comprehensive and continual training programmes also supply our carers with the tools to further their progression in specialist areas within social support.

We know how important it is for you to build a rapport with your carer and so we make every effort to maintain continuity. However, there are times when this is unavoidable in emergency cases, sickness and annual leave. In order to keep to our commitments of care we will have to send you another carer, but we will make sure to inform you prior to your visit.

We regularly monitor our Care Team to guarantee only the highest level of care is being delivered. This also involves regularly reviewing and tailoring each client’s care plan to make sure it remains up to date and relevant to each individual. We also provide family members with updates on each client.
